About this opportunity

The NASA Postdoctoral Program offers 1–3 year fellowships for scientists to advance research in Earth science, planetary science, heliophysics, astrophysics, biological and physical science, aeronautics and engineering, human exploration systems, space operations, space technology, and astrobiology. Stipends start at $70,000 per year with supplements for higher cost-of-living areas and certain specialties. Financial assistance covers relocation, health insurance, and $10,000 annually for travel and professional development.

Fully funded — Postdoctoral Fellows: Ph.D. awarded within 5 years of application; Senior Fellows: Ph.D. awarded 5+ years before application
Open to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and international applicants
Must have Ph.D. or equivalent degree in hand before fellowship begins, but may apply while completing requirements
Stipend: $70,000/year minimum, 1–3 years
