UCLA's Center for Early Global Studies and American Indian Studies Center, in partnership with the Mellon Foundation, offer postdoctoral fellow positions for recent PhDs whose work focuses on race and racialization in Indigenous contexts during the pre-colonial/early colonial period. Fellows work collaboratively with Native American scholars-in-residence, UCLA faculty, and Museum staff. Two-year appointments begin July 1, 2026.
