Experimental Particle Physics PhD Studentship

The University of Sussex Experimental Particle Physics group is offering one or more fully funded PhD studentships for September 2026 admission. Research areas include the ATLAS experiment and FASER(2) at CERN, the SNO+ neutrinoless double beta decay experiment at SNOLAB (Canada), and neutrino oscillation experiments including NOvA, DUNE, and SBND. Funding covers full tuition fees at home fee status for 3.5 years and a tax-free bursary for living costs (£20,780 per annum in 2025/26), plus additional travel support.
